Taraba Deputy Governor receives officials, mates of alumni

Officials of the Jalingo Old Boys Association (JOBA) comprising officials and mates have paid a congratulatory visit to one of their own, the Deputy Governor of Taraba State Alhaji Aminu Abdullahi Alkali in his office in Jalingo.
Jalingo Old Boys Association, a conglomerate of graduates of MCBride Secondary School founded by the missionaries in 1969 which metamophosed to Government Secondary School, Jalingo when it was handed over to the Government of the North East in 1975 and turned into a Government Science Secondary School in 1983.
Speaking during the visit, National President of the Association, Hilkiya Bubajoda Mafindi said the officials, Set representatives and elders were in the Office of the Deputy Governor to appreciate God and congratulate him and the Governor, Dr. Agbu Kefas for their well deserved election and successful ascension of the mantle of Leadership of state.
Mafindi urged the Deputy Governor to do his best in handling the social Responsibility bestowed on him to justify the confidence reposed on him by the entire people of Taraba State.

The JOBA National President equally urged the Deputy Governor to live by example for others to emulate and prayed for God’s guidance for the success of the present Administration in Taraba State.
Responding, the Deputy Governor, a 1979 graduate and class mate to the National President, expressed happiness for the
visit which was a testimony of the support of the members and expression of brotherhood by members to him the present Administration in the State.
The Deputy Governor thanked the members of the Association for their support to the PDP, himself and the Governor during campaigns and election, saying that the support by the members cannot be measured.
