Taraba executive council approves all recommendations of judicial committee on communal clashes

The Taraba State Executive Council has approved all recommendations of the Judicial Commission of Inquiry set up to look in the immediate causes of crises between Tiv and their neighbours in the State.
State Commissioner of Information and Reorientation, Danjuma Adamu Anyeze who disclosed this to newsmen shortly after an extended Exco meeting, said the council equally approved recommendations of the Judicial Commission of Inquiry into the lingering Shomo and Jole crises.
Also approved by the council is the recommendations of the Visitation Panel set up by the State Government on the Taraba State Polytechnic, Suntai.
As part of measures to tackle the challenges,the commissioner said implementation of the recommendations will begin in soon and reaffirmed the commitment of Governor Darius Dickson Ishaku in restoring peace to all parts of the state.
He said the recommendations and the white papers of the two commissions of inquiry and that of the visitation panel will soon be made public as justice and fairness demands which are the hallmark of Governor Darius Ishaku’s administration.
