Taraba, Finland seek avenue to strengthen ties in education

Governor Agbu Kefas is in Finland to explore abundant opportunities beneficial to Taraba State particularly in education.
The Governor who started the visit with a meeting with the Mayor of the city of Oulu on Friday also had fruitful discussions with the Minister of Foreign Affairs Anna-Maja Henriksson and the Education Ambassador on Saturday.
The Governor said the visit was to express gratitude for the warmth hospitality extended to Taraba State by Finland and to explore potential collaborations in the field of education.
He emphasized that education holds the highest priority in his government and by forging alliances with Finland, he seeks to provide World-Class educational opportunities to the youths of Taraba State.
He noted that Finland is renowned for its exceptional educational system which serves as a shining example from where Taraba hopes to draw inspiration.
The Governor described the visit as very successful with both sides expressing optimism and willingness to explore further collaborations in various areas.
