Taraba government approves transfer of staff to state civil service

Taraba State Governor Darius Ishaku has granted approval for transfer of service of senior staff from local and the federal governments to the Taraba State Civil Service.
State Commissioner of Information and Reorientation Danjuma Adamu stated this while briefing Government house Correspondent shortly after the State Executive Council meeting held at the Exco Chambers, Government House, Jalingo.
Explaining on the lifting of embargo on transfer of service, the Head of Service, Suzy Jemimah Nathan said the Government approval was done to fill in the existing vacancy of some categories of staff in the State Civil Service.
The State Executive Council also granted approval for the purchase of farm inputs for this year cropping season.
The Exco was chaired by the State Deputy Governor, Haruna Manu who represented Governor Darius Ishaku.
