Governor Darius Ishaku of Taraba State

The Governor of Taraba State, Darius Ishaku has flagged off the N10.3billion 35- kilometer Pamanga- Dakka road project.
The ceremony took place at Pamanga in Bali Local Government Area of the state.
Speaking, Governor Darius Ishaku maintained the stance of his administration to the construction of more roads which is in line with his campaign promise to the late Gangwari of Dakka and the people.
He opined that the massive construction of roads in the State will no doubt enhance security surveillance including boosting of socio economic activities.
The Governor promised to provide funds to Geld, company handling the project in order to complete the road by December.
Governor Darius Ishaku charged the Contractors to maintain quality jobs to leave lasting legacies in the area.
In his Speech, Commissioner of Works Ibrahim Hammanjulde reeled the achievements of Governor Darius Ishaku on road construction to include Magami road network of six point seven kilometer, Takum-Chancjanji, dual-carriage Jauro-Yinu to Pantinapo City gate with pedestral bridges and walkways.
Others are Bali Serti to Gembu, Marraraba Baissa to Abong, Marraraba Lasheke to Pantisawa, phase one of Jalingo-Kona road, Takum Katstina and others.
Hammanjulde,expressed confidence on the project to boost socio economic activities and as well enhance security of the area.
On his part, Chairman Bali Local Government Area Musa Mamud enumerated the giant strides of Governor Darius Ishaku in Bali to include drilling of solar boreholes,extension of Bali roundabout, renovation of schools, supply of transformers and the ongoing Pamanga Dakka road.
Mamud, who appreciated Governor Darius Ishaku for commencing the Construction of the Pamanga Dakka road appealed to him to upgrade the Bali General hospital to a Specialist hospital to mitigate the travelling of patients to various health facilities outside Bali Local Government Area.
In his vote of thanks, Deputy Speaker of the State House of Assembly Hamman Adama Abdullahi thanked Governor Darius Ishaku for flagging off the road project.
He said past administrations have made efforts to construct the road which could not see the light of the day and applauded Governor Darius Ishaku for his doggedness and resilience for making the day a reality.
Speaker of the State House of Assembly Joseph Albasu Kunini, Secretary to the State Government Anthony Jellason,Commissioners Royal Fathers including the General Managers of the Taraba State Broadcasting Service, David Nya and his TTV counterpart, Jonah Pantuvoh attended the ceremony.
