The Governor of Taraba State, Dr. Agbu Kefas, inspected the main bowl of the Jolly Nyame Stadium, Jalingo venue of his official defection to the All Progressives Congress (APC), on Saturday, January 31st, 2026.
The Governor was accompanied during the inspection by members of the National Assembly from the state, APC stalwarts, and a large number of supporters.
At the Stadium, Dr. Kefas inspected the facilities to ensure a hitch-free defection ceremony.
He said he was at the stadium to personally assess the level of preparedness ahead of the programme.
and expressed optimism that the defection ceremony would be successful.
The defection ceremony of the Governor is expected to witness personalities including Vice President Kashim Shetima, Senate President Godswill Akpabio, the APC National Chairman, Professor Nentawe Yilwatda amongst others.
