Taraba Governor Kefas bags another merit award of excellence within a week

The Governor of Taraba State Dr. Agbu Kefas has bagged yet another Merit award of excellence this time by the Taraba State College of Health Technology, Takum in collaboration with the Gilead Best Consulting Limited.
The award was presented to the Governor on Monday in Jalingo at the opening ceremony of a Three Day Capacity Building Training organized for the staff of the college at the
Saints Bernard Hotel Jalingo.
Declaring the training open, with the theme “Leadership and Work Ethics”, the Governor represented by the Chief of Staff Government House Administration Dr. Jeji Williams Mni expressed the commitment of his administration towards training and retraining of civil servants for improved productivity.
The Governor said equipping staff in the health and education sectors with the needed knowledge is very important hence the speedy approval for the three day workshop.
The Provost Taraba State College of Health Technology Takum, Dr Wama Emmanuel Binga, revealed that it was the first time, since the inception of the College that workshop is held for staff of the institution and appreciated the State Government for turning around the fortune of the College.
The lead resource person and Director Gilead Best Consulting Limited, professor Sunday Ukpata who presented the lead paper on the topic, “Work Ethics and Attitudinal Change for Improved Productivity”, encouraged civil servants generally to uphold ethics of their various professions.
The Management of the College in collaboration with Gilead Best Consulting Limited also bestowed Meritorious Award on the State Commissioner for Health, Bordiya Buma and other prominent health Personnel for revamping the Taraba State health sector.
It could be called that just last week Governor Kefas received the Highest Honorary Citizenship Award of the State of Georgia in the United States of America.
