Governor of Taraba State Dr. Agbu Kefas has bagged the highest Honorary Citizenship Award of the State of Georgia in the United States of America US.
Dr.Agbu Kefas received the award while playing host to Investors from the United States of America and Italy at the TY Danjuma House Jalingo the Capital of Taraba State.
During the occasion the Governor reiterated his commitments to transform Taraba State using the available natural resources in the State to propel growth and development.
Governor Agbu Kefas said the delegation, who are experts in the fields of Agriculture, Mining, and Energy, will use their expertise to bare on transformating the natural resources of the State benefiting it and the global Community.
“My responsibility to the people of Taraba State is service and as I serve I will ensure the actualization of my transformation vision for Taraba State” Kefas said.
He assured the experts of the cooperation of the State Government, guaranteeing their safety and well-being during their stay in the State.
The investors, who briefed journalists after a close door meeting with the Governor said they were in the State to support the programmes and policies of Governor Kefas.
adding that they are investors in Agriculture, Tourism, Energy, and Health sectors to open up the global opportunities of the State.
During the visit the guests presented the highest honourary Citizenship award of the State of Georgia in the US to the Governor.
