The Governor of Taraba State, Dr Agbu Kefas, has officially received the All Progressives Congress (APC) membership card.
The Governor received the the card from the Chairman of the APC Hospital Ward, Wukari Local Government Area, Hon. Umaru Tanko, at the TY Danjuma House, Government House, Jalingo.
Collecting the membership card, Governor Kefas said his registration into the APC has formally validated his identity as a party member, opening the door for him to participate fully in all APC activities.
Governor Kefas said the earlier postponed official defection ceremony would be rescheduled in the near future.
Presenting the card to the Governor, Hon. Tanko described the Governor as a bonafide member of the party and expressed delight for officially welcoming him.
The ceremony was attended by members of the APC State Working Committee, led by the State Secretary, Hon. Fidelis Francis.
