General Danjuma

Taraba State Governor, Dr. Agbu Kefas has felicitated with elder statesman and former Chief of Army Staff, General Theophilus Yakubu Danjuma (rtd), on his 86th birthday.
A message personally signed by the Governor said the celebrant has helped in saving the lives of innumerable mothers and infants through the provision of hospitals and generous support with funds by the T.Y Danjuma Foundation.
“You have shut the doors against illiteracy, ignorance and poverty for many Nigerians through your numerous scholarship schemes and generous donations to schools and Universities to promote teaching and learning,” Dr. Kefas noted.
He said Nigerians will forever remember and appreciate the role being played by the elder statesman in fostering unity in the country and touching millions of lives through expansive, sefless and philanthropic programmes.
The Governor wishes the celebrant more glorious years of sound heath, wisdom and prosperity.
