Governor Agbu Kefas of Taraba State

Taraba State Governor Dr. Agbu Kefas has granted amnesty to 31 deserving inmates in the spirit of the new year 2024.
Governor Kefas who announced the amnesty in his new year broadcast to the people of the state said the decision reflects the commitments of his administration to justice, compassion and belief in the transformational power of rehabilitation.
The Governor disclosed that his dedication to the unity and development of the people of Taraba State is unwavering and every citizen accross the State is an integral part of the collective journey towards prosperity.
“My Administration is resolute in ensuring that the dividends of Governance are felt by the people, our Government is truly the Government of the people by the people and for the people” Kefas stated.
He said it is a constitutional responsibility of the Goverment to face the Security challenges facing the State head long and promised to redouble efforts to make Taraba State a save haven for all.
“Together we shall overcome these challenges and ensure that our State thrives in peace and harmony, as we embark on this new chapter let us foster unity, embrace progress and work hand in hand for the betterment of Taraba State”.
“As we usher in the dawn of a New Year, I extend my heartfelt wishes to each and every one of you together we started brimming with possibilities and opportunities for our great State may the year 2024 bring prosperity, joy and fulfilment to all Tarabans,” the Governor prayed.
