Taraba State Governor, Dr. Agbu Kefas has described the death of NTA ace broadcaster, Aisha Bello as shocking.
In a statement by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Media and Digital Communications, Emmanuel Bello, the Governor said the loss was coming at a time the nation greatly needs her mentoring in the broadcasting profession.
Governor Kefas observed that her 35 years of dedication to broadcasting was noteworthy adding that the world of journalism has lost a gem.
He described late Aisha as a passionate television personality who presented the news naturally and made news more interesting by her friendly posture.
“The late Aisha Bello brought a flair to news reading that made it more interesting to watch, many young broadcasters see her as a role model” the statement added.
Kefas said her death has left a vacuum as her illustrious service at the Nigeria Television Authority (NTA) will remain a reference point to many broadcasters.
He prayed for the repose of her soul,
condoled her immediate family, management and staff of the NTA, the media in Nigeria and the world at large.
