Governor Agbu Kefas of Taraba State

As Muslim Ummah marks this year’s eid-el-fitr, the people of Taraba State have continued to preach peace, love among one another just as it prays for Allah blessings for Governor Agbu Kefas’ administration in the state.
Our correspondent who monitored the just concluded Salah celebration in Ardo-Kola, Jalingo and Gassol local government areas of the state reports that it was generally peaceful.
Cross section of prominent Muslims who spoke to our man includes chairman Jalingo Local Government Area, Dr. Aminu Jauro Hassan and his counter-part from Ardo-Kola, Hon. Ismaella Dangote, Deputy Majority Leader, Taraba State House of Assembly, Hon. Musa Abdullahi Chull and state Commissioner for Science and Technology, Hon. Usman Muslim Abdullahi bore their minds over peaceful celebration in the state and attributed it to almighty Allah bountiful mercy and Governor Kefas administration’s unwavering commitment in ensuring collective peace and security of lives and property in the state.
To Dr. Hassan, Governor Kefas administration has continued to impact positive development round the state, just as he has demonstrated his desire to change the negative narrative of the state as currently witnessing by all and sundry and urged the people of the state to pray for him to deliver more dividend of democracy and avoid act capable of distracting his good intentions for the state.
Hon. Dangote on its part observed that the state at the moment has continued to be recording relative peace since the assumption of Governor Kefas administration in the state.
According to him, the Governor has proved his readiness to serve Tarabans pointing out that what is required at moment is total support and prayers from the people of the state to enable him keep executing people’s oriented project, noted with satisfaction that the peaceful Salah celebration was clear testimony that Governor Kefas is determined to take the state to the next level and sited free education, prompt payment of salary/pension and massive infrastructural development across board as unprecedented.
To the Deputy Majority Leader, the celebration calls for sober reflection especially as Nigerians are passing untold hardship.
According to him, Nigeria should look inward and place commitment to total prayer in order to receive Allah intervention.
He appreciated Governor Kefas, security agents and council chairman for synergy especially on the just concluded Salah festivity and urged them not to relent.
