Colonel Agbu Kefas (rtd)

The flagbearer of the Peoples Democratic party (PDP) in Taraba State Colonel Agbu Kefas, (rtd) has been described as a made in Japan product that is highly qualitative and ready to serve the people effectively.
Acting Chairman of the party in the State, Alhaji Inuwa Bakari started this in his office in Jalingo in an interview with Apex News Exclusive.
He said Colonel Agbu Kefas is dependable, reliable, very serious minded and above all God-fearing who will no doubt deliver as he has all it takes for the office of the Executive Governor of Taraba State.
The chairman said the flag bearer is the choice of the people of Taraba State and by God’s grace the party will emerge victorious in next year’s election.
Alhaji Bakari maintained that “so far so good the PDP
has been on a sound footing since inception as the Northern star very constant and always shining the party is waxing stronger on a daily basis.
“The PDP has been winning before and this time will not be different the chances are high God is with the party as usual we will continue to provide dividends of democracy.”
Bakari said because of the strength of the party in the State over 160 aspirants purchased nomination forms and took part in the Primaries of the various elective offices in a free, fair and peaceful atmosphere.
On the grudges and litigations on the aftermath of the primaries the State Acting PDP Chairman observed that such is in every political party and normal because if you go to a contest and you lose definitely you will see fault but fortunately all those involved have been calmed.
He explained all those with grudges should look at the party first which as supreme and supersedes any personal interest.
Bakari said the “PDP has a very big umbrella it not like a broom which sweeps and go along with the dirt and with the big umbrella everybody will be accommodated.
He called on those who aspired for various elective positions in the party and their supporters to sheath their swords and work towards the success of the party in the state and the country.
The Chairman pledged to use his wealth of experience as two-term Director of Mobilisation, two-term Publicity Secretary, the State Deputy Chairman and now the Acting Chairman to straightened the party.
