Hon. Danladi Baido, Taraba SDP governorship candidate
By Samuel Torlumun
The Social Democratic Party (SDP) governorship candidate for Taraba State, Hon. Danladi Baido has congratulated the newly elected President of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Rev. Daniel Okoh.
He prayed that the Almighty God grant Rev. Okoh the patience, wisdom and strength to Shepard the association to greater heights.
Hon. Baido urged the new CAN President to further uplift the association spiritually in line with the teachings of Jesus Christ and his disciples and be focused in the work of God.
This was contained in a statement by Anthony Maliki, Media Assistant to Social Democratic Party (SDP) Governorship Candidate for Taraba State, Hon. Danladi Baido to Apex News Exclusive.
He also cautioned Rev. Okoh not to be swayed by gullible persons who would want to use the name of the association for personal gains.
The SDP governorship candidate implored him to be upright in his work especially during this electioneering period where greedy politicians seeking elective offices would swan around CAN for favours.
Hon. Baido implored the new CAN President to build and booster unity not only within the Christendom but across ethnic and sectional divides of the country.
Born in Kano on November 12, 1963 and from Rivers State, Rev. Okoh is the General Superintendent of Christ Holy Church, also called Nation Builders (Odozi-Obodo).
