TASBISA Executive Vice Chairman applauds Dr. Dantsoho election as Vice President, Africa, International Association for Ports, Harbours

The Executive Vice Chairman of Taraba State Bio-entrepreneurship Innovation and Solution Agency, (TASBISA), Mr. Josiah Bitrus Habu, has extended warm felicitations to the Managing Director, Nigerian Ports Authority, (NPA), Dr. Abubakar Dantsoho, on his election as Vice President (Africa) of the International Association for Ports and Harbours (IAPH).

He believes that Dr. Dantsoho’s election into the position would further better the fortunes of the association and lift it to greater heights.

In a statement on Friday, Mr. Habu pointed out that as a resourceful and visionary leader, the NPA Managing Director has all it takes to provide IAPH the needed focus.

The Executive Vice Chairman urged Dr. Danshoto to be resolute, committed, firm but fair in leading IAPH during his tenure and leaving a lasting legacy.

Mr. Habu, however, appealed to the NPA Managing Director to also look towards the direction of Taraba State with vast water ways to assist in making them accessible with a view to boosting the economic of the state and also the enormous agricultural produce and many natural resources.

He further pointed out that with IAPH backing, the water ways especially the River Benue, that transverse across Taraba State, can be used effectively for transportation and tourism.
