The Director General of National Directorate of Employment, (NDE), Silas Ali Agara, has stressed that teamwork and dedication to duty is the backbone of growth.
He made the statement when he visited Sokoto State office of the directorate.
According to him, “NDE is focused towards the empowerment of youth from joblessness through the Renewed Hope Employment Initiative of President Bola Tinubu.
“This mission could only be successful if the staff exhibit teamwork and dedication to duty in this national assignment,” he said.
Agara however, encourages state officers to publicize the positive impact of NDE activities to its stakeholders and on the society.
The Director General highlighted the need for staff to adapt to the newly introduced ICT work procedures, which differ from their usual practices.
He said that it is to facilitate a smooth transition, he announced plans to conduct ICT training for officers. This effort aims to digitalize all NDE activities, aligning them with international best practice.
Agara toured the office premises and plans to improve standard towards enhancing the work environment.
