The late Gambo killed by Tiv youth
There is palpable tension in Abinsi, a Jukun community in Guma Local Government Area of Benue State following the killing of a commercial motorcyclist, Gambo Joshua Alani by a group of Tiv gunmen at about 8pm on Thursday.
Reports reaching Apex News stressed that the Tiv gunmen fired at a popular spot where commercial motorcyclists station and hit Gambo who died instantly.
Many other persons were also injured by the gun shots at the spot usually crowded with food vendors and serves as garage to Makurdi and other parts of the state.
It was gathered that restive Jukun youths were restraint by some elders against reprisal but had to carry the corpse of Gambo to the Police station as an “exhibit” for the attack.
