The boos and jeers on President Muhammadu Buhari and the reasons that fan it tend to have more than just one angle to it.
While his refusal to sack underperforming security chiefs has become his greatest undoing in the estimation of Nigerians, his choices for people to man sensitive offices have equally come under serious scrutiny.
While in Borno yesterday, Buhari’s Defence Minister, Bashir Magashi was caught in deep slumber as the President addresses the people of Borno on security issues.
The picture speaks of a man that is not only out of touch but out of sync with the mental and physical aptitude required to run an office that is prosecuting an intractable war against a brutal insurgency.
