Deeper Life Bible Church’s pastor, Elaigwu Odogbo Obagaji John has emerged the new Och’Idoma, a paramount Ruler of the Idoma nation.
The 52-year-old clergy defeated Andrew Idakwu and Sunday Echono to emerge the new king of Idoma land after the demise of His Royal Majesty, Agabaidu Elias Ikoyi Obekpa, who went on hunting expedition on October 10.
His Royal Majesty, Pastor Elaigwu was born on 27th March,1969 as the 5th born to the family of Mr. Elaigwu Ekoja in Obagaji the headquarters of Agatu Local Government Area of Benue State.
His Royal Majesty is a graduate from Ahmedu Bello University Zaria (1994) with B.Sc honour in Accounting.
He also graduate with M.Sc in Business Administration from Benue State University, (BSU), Makurdi.
He came out with Post Graduate Diploma in Education at National Teacher’s Institute.
He is a Fellow Certified Chartered Accountant of Nigeria, (FCNA).
He also bagged another M.Sc Accounting and Finance, Nasarawa State University, Keffi.
Again, he is a Fellow of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, (FCITN). HRM has PhD in Accounting from Nasarawa State University, Keffi.
He is equally a member, Associate of Nigeria Institute of Management.
As well as a pastor of the Deeper Life Bible Church Pastors.
HRM, Pastor Elaigwu has been running his professional career with the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) where he worked for about 23years and rose to the position of Assistant Director.
At the FIRS, he held so many positions within the period of his stay.
More so, the Comrade Pastor Elaigwu served as the Chairman of Association of Senior Civil Servants of Nigeria for two tenure from 2004 to 2012. He also served as National Ex-officio of same Association from 2012 to 2018.
