Third Nigeria Annual Automotive Industry Award holds October 3, to appreciate, celebrate outstanding contributions of automotive stakeholders

The Third Nigeria Annual Automotive Industry Award that is scheduled to hold on Thursday 3rd day of October, 2024 at the Sheraton Hotel in Ikeja, Lagos is meant to appreciate and celebrate outstanding contributions of automotive stakeholders in the country.

It is also aimed to appreciate their products and services, conveniences; as it’s also an initiative to celebrate Nigeria’s 64th Independent Anniversary.

Therefore, the decades-long prerequisite of the Nigeria State Governments anticipating vehicles to be 100 percent road-worthy; not minding if at all the roads in the states are reasonably vehicle worthy; and the state government’s current vigorous efforts at construction, rehabilitation and maintenance of their intra-state roads in changing the narrative is going to be seriously appreciated and wholeheartedly celebrated at the forthcoming 3rd Nigeria Annual Automotive Industry Exhibition & Award.

In this regards, some most worthy Nigerian State Governments which have performed and still continue to perform excellently well in continuous construction of their intra-state roads; maintenance and rehabilitation have been nominated to be ceremoniously Recognized; Specially with Awards of Excellence in Intra-State Mobility & Transportation, and the Most Excellence in Road Safety, for being able; prominently to enable smooth intra-state mobility and safety of motorists as well as reduction in road crashes within the states as attested to it by Nigerian Automotive stakeholders in the diverse states.

For the states that have been painstakingly watched, technically affirmed to have met nothing less than 70 per cent of Automobiles And Road Safety Initiative’s set standards in roads rehabilitation, maintenance and construction engineering; laced with safety components; two (2) High Grade Awards as stated here-in; shall be bequeathed to each one of them.

Senator Saidu Ahmed Alkali, the Honourable Federal Minister of Transportation, and Deputy Corps Marshal Bisi Kazeem (FRSC Deputy Corps Marshal Training) are expected among several other eminent Nigerians to present the awards on behalf of the Board of Trustees of the Automobiles And Road Safety Initiative to the 2024 Award Winners; while the Honourable Commissioners in charge of Works/Transport and the Permanent Secretaries in the ministries are expected to represent their states at the award presentation ceremony.

Also notable, popular, dependable Automobile brands in the country shall be recognized with the Awards of Foremost Automobile Brand of the Year; and the Most Excellence in Reliability & Longevity; for those automobiles that aptly merit it.

Essentially, the most reliable, durable Automotive Spare Parts/ Decorates shall be recognized with the Awards of Exceptional Automotive Spark Plug Brand of the Year, Exceptional Automotive Filter Brand of the Year, and Exceptional Automotive Paint Brand of the Year, respectively.

The intense backbone of every Automobile’s Engine, the standard lubricants shall be honoured with the Award of Foremost Automobile Lubricant Brand of the Year; while some of the excellent brains behind the production of the standard lubricants as well as those stakeholders who are contributing immensely to the growth of the Nigeria Automotive Industry shall go home from the award presentation ceremony with the Award of Leading Nigerian Automotive Industry Personality of the Year.

Other Award categories slated for presentation at the ceremony include: Most Innovative Automotive Accomplishments of the Year, Most Distinguished Auto Technician of the Year, Most Distinguished Nigerian Automotive Stakeholder of the Year, Foremost Automobile Fuel Retailer of the Year, Leading Auto Three Wheeler of the Year, Most Innovative Achievements Award, Leading Automobile Dealership of the Year, Exceptional Automotive Fuel Treatment Brand of the Year, Motor Fuel Retail Outlet Best Quality Services Award, Paramount Automobile Body Repair Shop of the Year, Paramount Automobile Repair Shop of the Year, and Most Intelligent Traffic Management System Award.

The theme for the 2024 Award is “The Best and the Brightest of the Nigeria Automotive Industry on Parade & Talents Discovery.”

As part of the events of the day, there will be installation of the NGO’s Grand Patrons, Patrons and Patroness.

Meanwhile, the expected responses to the Board of Trustees’ nomination proposals for the various award’s categories close in few days’ time.

Notably, the Board of Trustees of Automobiles And Road Safety Initiative, the organisers of the Nigeria Annual Automotive Industry Exhibition & Award are also the Promoters of the West Africa Automotive Institute; which Permanent Campus is currently under construction at Ikeji-Ile Ijesa in Oriade Local Government Area of Osun State, Nigeria.
