A member of the Board of Trustees (BoT), All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Chief Rommy Ezeonwuka has advised those plotting to destroy the party to have a second thought because they will all have themselves to blame should their evil intentions come to fruition.
The APGA stalwart said the party was the only political party in the entire nation that would offer veritable platform for economic prosperity and national development.
The APGA BoT member, who spoke with our correspondent in an exclusive interview in Awka, stressed that should the Igbo nation lose hold of the APGA, they would all bear the brunt of their overzealous ambitions.
Chief Ezeonwuka noted that APGA as a political party had instituted lots of infrastructures on ground in Anambra State.
The APGA BOT member recalled that the APGA-led state government under ex-governor Peter Obi recorded monumental accomplishments, stressing that the incumbent state governor, Chief Willie Obiano was equally meeting the expectations of the citizenry in his developmental strides.
According to Chief Ezeonwuka, “I am using my position as the spiritual leader of the Igbo nation to ask those that are seriously aggrieved and trying to destroy APGA to sheathe their swords because by the time we do away with APGA, we shall all feel the pains.”
He also noted that the outgoing governor of Imo state, Rochas Okorocha, performed better as governor on the platform of APGA.
The APGA BOT member however maintained that the spirit of the party left him when he betrayed APGA and joined the All Progressives Congress (APC) where he eventually met his waterloo.
Chief Ezeonwuka who also doubles as the sole proprietor of Rojenny Games Village Oba in Idemili-South council area of Anambra State, noted that Okorocha’s predicaments began when he sold his loyalty to the opposition and started the fire he was unable to quench which he said crippled his APC-led government in Imo State.
