Senator Barau Jibrin

The Tinubu/Shettima Associates and Professionals (TAP-IT) Project 2023, a coalition of several Tinubu support groups and civil society organisations, has endorsed the candidature of Senator Jibrin Barau for the next Senate President.
TAP-IT stressed that Senator Barau representing Kano North Senatorial District is the best aspirant to occupy the position due to his past records and accessibility to all Nigerians.
The Director-General of TAP-IT, Comrade Abdulmajeed Sa’ad made the assertion when he led other officials of organization at an interactive session with Senator Barau in Abuja on Monday.
According to him, not only being the ranking Senator from the North-West of Nigeria, Senator Barau is best suited for the position because of his competence.
Comrade Sa’ad pointed out that the North-West also contributed a lot to the emergence of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu as the next president of the country and thus should produce the next Senate President which Senator Barau is most eligible.
Besides, he noted that Senator Barau has been tested by holding key Senate positions especially as Chairman of the Senate Committee on Petroleum Resources (Downstream) among others where he excelled.
Senator Barau appreciated the organization for the visit noting that the incoming Senate deserves the best hands for its leadership and implored the organization to carry their campaign for his candidature further.
