Folashade Tinubu-Ojo

President Bola Tinubu’s daughter, Dr. Mujidat Folashade Tinubu-Ojo has accepted her appointment as the Pro-Chancellor of Havilla University in Nde community of Ikom in central Cross River State, and has also pledged to use her position to bolster quality education.
Tinubu–Ojo in a letter of acceptance, dated February 17, 2024 lauded members of Governing council for working in one accord, expressing happiness that an academic complex in the school has been named after her.
“Thank you for the honour to lead the governing council of Havilla University and the naming of academic complex after me.
“In order to fulfill the directives of National University
Commission, i am pleased to inform you and the university management that Saturday March 9, 2024 has been approved by me for inauguration of Governing Council.”
Founder of the institution and former member representing Ikom/Boki federal constituency in the National Assembly, Hon. Jones Tangban said the complex will be formally unveiled next month.
The former parliamentarian stated that the university was founded years ago to enable him contribute to education and largely national development.
