A chieftain of the ruling All Progressives Congress, (APC), Cesnabmihilo Dorothy Nuhu Aken’Ova, has hailed the Presidential Election Petition Court (PEPC) for upholding the principles of fairness and justice in the 2023 general elections.
She said in Abuja that Tinubu’s victory demonstrates the credibility of the judiciary which affirms him as the duly elected President of Nigeria.
According to her, “I commend the judiciary for affirming the victory of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the last presidential elections.
“Being a chieftain of the APC and human rights activist, we have been advocating for free and fair elections in Nigeria.
“We are calling on the people to respect the court’s judgement as a panecea for the entrenchment of democracy.” She said.
Aken’Ova said that the verdict of the Court will pave way for renewed hope in Nigeria.
The politician hopes that this judicial affirmation will invigorate President Tinubu and his cabinet to pursue economic growth, social development and improved governance.
Aken’Ova calls on the people to unite and support the government towards the development of the country regardless of political affiliations.
