Trailer crashed at Ifite-Unizik bus in Anambra State claiming the life of 5 students at the spot and leaving two seriously injured on Friday.
A fatal accident occurred between a Unizik student shuttle and a trailer at Kwata junction Awka, Anambra State within the Bridge.
The cause of the accident is still unknown as whether it was as a result of brake failure or drunk-driving. With the situation of things, only two out 7 passengers in the shuttle survived the crash with serious injuries.
A kind security personnel and other rescue-team had intervened at the time of its occurrence.
An eyewitness account, a Unizik student under the faculty of Engineering: “A fatal accident occurred between a Unizik student shuttle and a trailer at Kwata junction Awka, within the Bridge.
“With the situation of things only two out 7 passengers in the shuttle survived the crash.”
