TRAVSI Founder, Asemanya felicitates with mentor, director, Professor Ochefu on induction as Fellow, Nigerian Academy of Letters

The Founder/CEO of 24-hours Road Accident Victim Support Initiative (TRAVSI) NGO, Hon. Gadafi Asemanya Jnr. has felicitated with his mentor and one of the directors of the organization Professor Yakubu Aboki Ochefu on his induction as Fellow of the Nigerian Academy of Letters (NAL).
Asemanya made the remarks in an interview with Apex News Exclusive on Saturday.
Professor Ochefu was inducted at the J. F. Ade Ajayi Auditorium, University of Lagos, alongside Professors Gowon Ama Doki, Mike Odugbo Odey, Ted Anyebe and John Ebute Agaba, of the Benue State University.
Professor Ochefu is the Secretary-General of the Committee of Vice Chancellors of Nigerian Universities.
While Professor Ochefu was honoured as Fellow of the Academy, the other four distinguished scholars were admitted into the membership of the academy.
The colourful event drew University administrators, renowned scholars, entrepreneurs, Chief Executives, industrialists and many guests from within Nigeria and the diaspora.
Responding on behalf of the new Fellows, Professor Ochefu appreciated the leadership and College of Fellows of NAL, for finding them worthy of the honour.
Speaking after the induction ceremony, Professor Doki, on behalf of the other inductees expressed gratitude for the admission and promised to abide by the code of conduct of the academy. 
He further noted that with the induction, they were better poised for a robust intellectual engagement with colleagues across the arts in the various universities; a privilege that could be leveraged by Benue State University.
