University of Calabar VC urges students’ group to consolidate scholarship, peace programmes

The Vice Chancellor, University of Calabar, Professor Florence Banku Obi has called on members of Association of Brotherhood Academic Scholars to extend its scholarship programmes to many more students.
The VC who played host to them in her office when the group called to intimate her a bbn out their 45th anniversary celebration, said they must consolidate on peace advocacy and other goal-oriented programmes.
Represented by Deputy Vice Chancellor in charge of Administration, Professor Eno Nta, Obi applauded them on their peace advocacy approach on behaviorial change, adding that their intervention programmes on campus should help other students behave positively towards their academic activities.
She encouraged them to keep organising impactful programmes that are beneficial to the academic community and society at large.
Earlier, International President of the fellowship, Patriarch Ekuma Ngwu, expressed immense appreciation to for the privilege to interact with the academic don.
He assured that his group will persist in giving out more scholarships to undergraduates and to impact positive behavioral changes in students.
