Vice President Shettima storms Katsina for two-day working visit, MSME Clinic

Vice President Kashim Shettima arrived in Katsina Monday for a two-day working visit.
His aircraft touched down at the Umaru Musa Yar’adua International Airport around 5:00 p.m.
He was received by the Governor of Katsina State, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda; Deputy Governor, Hon. Faruk Lawal Jobe; Speaker of the Katsina State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Nasir Yahaya Daura; Chief of Staff to the Governor, Alhaji Abdulkadir Mamman Nasir; and the Minister of Housing and Urban Development, Arc. Ahmed Musa Dangiwa, along with other senior government officials.
Accompanying the Vice President were the Minister of Arts, Culture and Creative Economy, Hannatu Musa Musawa; Senator Muntari Dandutse, representing Funtua Zone; and Hon. Abdullahi Aliyu, representing Musawa/Matazu Federal Constituency.
Also at the airport to welcome the Vice President were the representatives of the Daura Emirates, and the representative of the Emir of Katsina, the Kauran Katsina, alongside members of the Katsina State Executive Council and other distinguished personalities.
During his visit, the Vice President is expected to commission the newly completed dualized Central Mosque Kiddeis Roundabout Road and launch the Katsina Sustainable Platform for Agriculture (KASPA) a digital platform designed to connect farmers with experts, markets, and suppliers.
He will also officially flag off the 9th National MSME Clinic, an event that brings together entrepreneurs, financial institutions, and regulatory agencies to boost small and medium-scale businesses across the state.
Those in attendance included the Principal Private Secretary to the Governor, Alhaji Abdullahi Aliyu Turaji; Hon. Abubakar Yahaya Kusada, representing Kankia/Kusada/Ingawa Federal Constituency; Hon. Salisu Yusuf Majigiri, representing Mashi/Dutsi Federal Constituency; and Hon. Usman Murtala Banye, representing Charanchi/Rimi/Batagarawa Federal Constituency.
Also present were members of the Katsina State Executive Council and district heads from across the state reflecting the unity, excitement, and wide participation that characterized the Vice President’s arrival.
