We need modern training centers, tools for automobile repairs – Auto Technicians Association of Nigeria

The Chairman, National Automobile Technicians Association of Nigeria (NATA), Kaduna State Chapter, Bola Ahmed Lawal urged the Federal and State governments to established training centers and modern workshops where their members shall be trained on modern ways of carrying out modern repair works to enable
handle present-day vehicles which are computerized.

Lawal, who spoke through the chairman, NATA, Jema’a Local Government Area in Kafanchan, Yusuf Abdullahi said the importance of their work is overemphasized as they are recruiting vulnerable, orphans and even graduates in the community as part of helping the technological development and reducing the rate of unemployment among youth in the country.

Considering the harsh economic situation of the country, the chairman appealed the relevant authorities to have them in their mind when thinking of how to ameliorate the suffering of the subsidy removal as their business is directly linked with fuel users vehicles.

Speaking on behalf of Jema’a Local Government chairman of the Association, Elisha Audu, the secretary also appealed to the government to allocate land to the group to build modern workshops as most of them were forced to move from streets and roadside to pave ways for other development.
