Coach Abdu Maikaba has expressed heartfelt apologies to the passionate supporters of Wikki Tourists FC following the team’s loss in the Ahlan Pre-season 2024 final.
He stressed that, “It was really disheartening it ended this way, that’s not what we worked for but we have to accept it in good faith and intensify our preparations for the coming season.”
He however urged fans to remain supportive, especially during challenging times, as the team strives to bounce back stronger.
Wikki Tourists lost to Adamawa United 2-0 in the finals played at the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Stadium Bauchi on Friday November 29 and were presented with the runners up trophy.
