The delegation with the Minister

The Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Dr Mohammad Mahmood Abubakar has stressed the need for Nigeria to feed itself.
He made the statement when members All Progressives Congress of the Presidential Campaign Council, APC-PCC Agricultural Directorate paid him a courtesy in his office.
According to him, “The agricultural policy of this administration of President Muhammadu Buhari’s Agricultural is for Nigeria to achieve food sufficiently.
“We want to continue the steady and stable progress made in the sector a sustainable growth and development in food production
“I am confident that President Muhammadu Buhari’s agricultural legacy will be sustained when the people elect Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his running mate Senator Kashim Shettima.
“I am a farmer, I am calling on the people, progressives and well meaning Nigerians to support APC to achieve the Nigerian dream,” the Minister said.

Responding, Director, Abubakar Udulu Bello and his Secretary, Redson Tedheke who led the delegation said, “The Agro Commodities Directorate is assured of the support of the Honorable Minister of not only delivering his polling unit, his ward, his local government, his state, but ultimately his primary constituency, The Nigeria farmers nationwide for the APC.
Across all 36 states and the FCT, rural and suburban farmers are mobilizing massively for the Asiwaju/Shettima Presidency. Agricultural Commodities Cooperative, Groups and Association nationwide are connecting with their members at the States, Local Governments, Wards and Polling Unit levels. Our motto in this directorate is that ‘No Farmer Would Be Left Behind.
“The Asiwaju/Shettima Agricultural Manifesto contains Agricultural Commodities, rural infrastructure, commodities board, nationalized massive irrigation, grains reserves and food storage, utilizing and maximizing the agricultural value chain, preservation and warehousing for rural and sub-urban farmers.
“Setting up of Massive Agricultural hubs across the country, large scale land clearing, easy access to cheap finance for Farmers and ensuring that Nigeria becomes a food sufficient country.
“With food security come social stability, jobs, societal security, rural infrastructure, engineering growth, sustainable economic development and maximizing opportunities in Nigeria for all Nigerians.”
Mr. Redson Tedheke said that, “The Agro Commodities Directorate, Farmers Associations, Cooperatives, Groups and their lead mobilization platforms like the Asiwaju Farmers Forum have already registered and activated massive farmers database process that is ongoing across the country and has designed a plan to embark on door-to-door program.
The Farmer said they are campaihning for the electorates to vote Asiwaju/Shettima ticket for the Nigeria National rebirth and Renewed Hope.
