The Managing Director of JulieMonreal Estate, Dr. Ejike Mmadunagu, has expressed the readiness of his company to reduce the housing deficit in Nigeria by supporting workers and traders to own their personal houses.
Dr. Mmadunagu spoke while fielding questions after addressing traders of Onitsha Main market, when they formally declared the year 2025 open at the Market’s secretariat in Onitsha.
He said some people are afraid of building their own houses because they thought that building house is difficult but he came to tell the traders that building house is not as difficult as it appeared.
The managing director said one can start building his house gradually by paying instalmentally, saying that before long one would have completed the building.
He said their mission at Onitsha Main Market was to inform traders about the opportunity available to them in partnering with the company.
He said: ” We want to partner with the market association. We want to control housing deficit in Anambra State and Nigeria in general. That is our main purpose of being here” Said Mmadunagu.
For the civil servants who could not afford to build house before retirement, he advised them to partner with the company, saying that they would aide them to get houses of their own.
“For some traders, they have no initiative of how to get a land. Some don’t even have knowledge of how to get a house of their own because they think getting a house is a big project. But when you partner with JulieMonreal Estate, we will make it easier for you to have your own desired house” he assured
Dr. Mmadunagu assured those partnering with them that they have land available in Delta State and even in Anambra State.
“We have available land in Delta State, even in Anambra. Some of our properties even in Anambra State are not all that expensive, and instalmental payment is allowed” he said.
He said one can begin to make some payments gradually for one year or even two years, stressing “So, our main purpose is that you must have a desired house of your own” .
