Most of Governor Bassey Otu’s special advisers who are former members of PDP, a leading opposition party in the state, have boasted that they have finally killed and buried it.
Chairman of Forum of special advisers, Barrister Ekpenyong Akiba spoke on behalf of others at a news briefing in Calabar.
He said they have swallowed most influential members of that party.
As such, he said the party is now a carcass of itself.
“There’s no way that party can come up again. We have since buried them. Anybody who was somebody there has come back home”, Akiba said.
According to him, Governor Bassey Otu who came to power on the ticket of APC will return in 2027.
The forum reeled out projects and achievements of Otu in the one year and none months he has been in office, and passed a vote of confidence in him.
“There’s mo vacancy in 2027 for another person whether from APC or PDP, we have passed a vote of confidence in Senator Bassey Otu to continue in office till 2027”, he maintained.
