We’ve supported education of 420 indigenes in higher institutions across Nigeria – Tabla, Ningi LGC boss declares

Executive Chairman of Ningi LGC, Mamuda Hassan Tabla has disclosed that in the last one and a half years of his administration, not fewer than 420 indegenes of the LGA have been supported to gain admission into various higher institutions across the country.
He explained that out of the number, 150 are admitted into the College of Health Technology, 207 into various Colleges of Education for NCE programs, 63 studying for National Diploma just as 10 are studying for degree programs.
The Chairman was briefing Journalists on the achievements of administration since coming on board in 2020 saying that it has been delivering for the good of the people in Ningi LGA.
He disclosed also that in the area of water supply, his Council has spent the sum of N12m to provide clean drinking water to the various communities across the LGA saying that in each electoral Ward, 15 boreholes were either fixed or completely rehabilitated while solar powered boreholes were also made good and working again.
Mamuda Hassan Tabla also said that in order to fight the menace of desertification and deforestation, his Council planted over 35000 trees across the LGA as well as encouraged others to do the same.
According to him, his Council also distributed empowerment items that include motorcycles, cars, sewing machines, water distribution machines for irrigation farming, noodles and pasta making machines, as well as various amounts of money totalling the sum of N23.
On security, he said that his Council is determined to ensure that lives and properties of residents of the area are adequately protected warning that any criminal caught will not be spared by the Council working with all security agencies in the area.
The Ningi Council Boss boasted that anyone in doubt of what he has said was done by his Council is free to go round the LGA for verification saying that the places are not hidden from the public.
Hassan Tabla then reiterated that his Council will continue to be responsive to the yearnings and aspirations of the people because according to him, “that is the reason for our election and we will not relent in the effort to discharge the onerous task”.
