Wikki Tourists FC, Bauchi declares 17 days break, thanks players for service

In order to allow its players to rest ahead of the next football season, Wikki Tourists FC of Bauchi has closed its camp for the just concluded season declaring a 17 day break starting from Thursday 12th August – Sunday 29th August 2021.
The announcement was conveyed by the Secretary of the Club, Comrade Abdullahi Ibrahim during a meeting with players of the Club to thank them for the services they have rendered to the Club particularly during the outgone #npfl 20/21 season.
He said that the Management will ensure that training resumed in earnest to prepare for next Season as registration has been opened for Club’s by the League Management Company, (LMC).
In his remarks, Chairman of the Club, Alhaji Balarabe Yusuf Douglas said that the Club will recruit more tested players for the next Season to complement the ones in the team for optimal Performance.
He reminded them on the importance of discipline, commitment and hard work which he said are key to any meaningful achievement.
While thanking the state Governor, Sen Bala Muhammed Abdulkadir for supporting the Club through thick and thin, the Chairman promised a better performance by the team next season.
The break is scheduled to commence on Thursday 12/8/2021 because of an invitational friendly game the team will play in Azare on Wednesday 11/8/2021.
It will be recalled that WIkki Tourists fc finished 15th on the #npfl20/21 Season log and will compete in the 21/22#npfl Season as contained in a statement by Nasiru Abdullahi Kobi, Media Officer of the Club.
