Balarabe Douglas is new chairman of Wikki Tourists FC

Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State has confirmed the constitution of 5-man management Board members of Wikki Tourists Football club of Bauchi with immediate effect.
A press release signed by the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Media Comrad Mukthar Gidado and made available to sports journalists in Bauchi indicated that the five-man Board Members of the state darling team has Alhaji Balarabe Yusuf popularly known as Douglas as Chairman.
Other members of the board are Alhaji Yusuf Gimba, Ibrahim, Musa, Alhaji Idi Misau and Shehu Aliyu.
According to the release the appointment of the board members was done based on merit considering their worth of experience , commitment dedication and contribution to the development of football in the state and the country at large.
He added that the appointment came at a time when the club is in dire need of competent, matured, tested, reliable and experienced football think tanks of their calibre to run the affairs of the state darling team.
The release further reiterate government intention to rebuild the name of Bauchi as sports city in Nigeria where all athletes will be proud to visit and associate with considering the role the sector played in the past and the sporting facilities abounds in the state.
While congratulating them for their well deserved appointment, Governor Mohammed assured the new appointees of government total support both moral and financial for effective discharge of the task ahead and enjoined them to be guided by the principles of transparency and due process in line with the change refrain of the present administration.
