A Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) House of Reps candidate in Yobe State for 2023, Hon Mohammed Bukar Terror is dead.
Hon Bukar Terror was the candidate of the party for Gulani, Gujba, Tarmuwa and Damaturu Federal Constituency in Yobe State.
Speaking to one of his son who disclosed that he died at the Yobe State University Teaching Hospital where he has been bedridden for some time.
He said the former labour leader has been in and out of hospital in India and Nigeria before his demise. He was said to have died of a liver-related disease.
In his Condolences message by Yobe State Gubernatorial candidate of the People Democratic Party Hon Shariff Abdullahi, said he was “deeply saddened by the death of “one of the pillars of the Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP) in the state, his Federal Constituency.
He said his death was ” shocking and devastating, in fact, Late Terror was not only a towering figure among us the PDP family but a great inspiration to us all. May Allah forgive his shortcomings and admit him into Jannatul Firdous.
According to him, ” I deeply saddened by the sorrowful news of the passing away of our House of Representative candidate in Gujba, Gulani, Tarmuwa, Damaturu federal constituency of Yobe State Comrade, Muhammad A. Bukar is dead.
“He will always be remembered for his acute understanding of grassroots political
mobilisation.” May God grant his soul perfect peace,” the governor was quoted to have said.
He described the late candidate as a “ loyal party man, a consummate politician,
bridge- builder and an effective voice who stood for what was proper, necessary
and good for both his Federal Constituency and state in general.
“On behalf of our great members and the good people of the state, I extend our condolences to his family, the people of Gujba, Gulani, Tarmuwa, Damaturu Federal Constituency and indeed the entire members of PDP.
