When being and becoming is at crossroads
God descends to earth,
Religion establishes the world
Spread love and affection path.
Thee is the beggar of love
For world human being,
He takes all pains
Give love for well-being.
His arrival brings world peace
Flows ocean of love,
Human heart rejoices
Find shelter in life above.
He takes away grief from men
Through the message of love,
Awakening plays in the heart
By his loving touch glove.
His coming is unique in nature
No one knows,
Praised Him after He departs
With His philosophy pro.
He comes in every ages
For salvation of mankind,
Giving peace to the world
With His mercy, so kind.
When man follows His example
Get divine feeling,
It can make a beautiful world
Cross in life with fellow feelings.
This poem is heartwarming. It seeks purely to spread the message of love to mankind. Dr Dash began by establishing the presence of God on earth, as it paves way for love and affection to flow naturally. In fact looking at how the world is mired by crisis here and there, terrorism, wars which in one way or the other seems to deter or shift away our focus from love and peace of mind… However, the poet studied this case scenario and centered the theme of this poem on God’s love, which of course supersedes any kind of love. God’s love genuinely shows us how to love one another and live peaceably with one another. And love is what everyone on earth craves. Without love depression automatically sets it. Much emphasis is categorically spelt out about this in stanza 3, line 1, ‘His arrival brings world peace ‘. On and on he continued to revere God, praising him for his essence and impact in the world.
In a nutshell, Dr Dash has beautifully used some poetic devices like alliteration in stanza 1, line 1 to portray the majestic power of God and his love for mankind. And this of course should be the kind of religion and message the world needs in these times of crisis the world is facing. Writers are encouraged to preach love, peace and unity through their writing.
