Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa State has counseled newly sworn in commissioners they are in the wrong place if they desire riches.

Fintiri made the point during the swearing in of 23 new members of his executive council at the Banquet Hall, Government House, Yola Adamawa State.
Six out of twenty-three of the commissioners served during Governor Fintiri’s first tenure.

The Governor while addressing the gathering said they must not betrayed the truth of the people especially friends, families, supporters and indeed all citizens of the Adamawa State.

He noted that having been chosen, from amongst millions of good hands and brains which Adamawa State has in abundance, the commissioners must therefore be committed and fair in the discharge of your duties.
