Nigeria has gotten a stronger and dependable leader in President Bola Tinubu and all he needs is to get more sound cabinet members that will help him succeed just like that of FCT minister and Minister of Interior much without delay.
The President, International Youth Parliament, Engineer Promise Anurika Nwadigos made the remarks in a statement in Abuja.
He said challenges in reforming Nigeria and making it work won’t be an easy task for the President only because a lot of damages was done by previous administrations.
According to him, previous governments have brought so much mess into the system and it will take a leader with the development team like that of President Tinubu to correct it.
“Today, Nigerians can agree that there is something fundamentally wrong with the previous system that President Tinubu and his team are fixing without complaining. As a young leader, I have first-hand experience of what the youth are going through due to some good changes that are coming to play, especially when it comes to debt and development finance,” Nwadigos explained.
The Youth Parliament President noted that “we are all too familiar with the flaws in the previous governments to confront these challenges, which they never made any attempt.”
He said President Tinubu’s government needs more than just adjustment but an overhaul, and is getting it right.
“Our nation must be at the centre of these reforms, but the nation’s criticisms and cries during the previous government for too long fall on deaf ears of a President who never cared. Now that we have a patriotic leader in Bola Ahmed Tinubu who listens to the masses, we must go beyond criticism and do what is needed for our economic development and emancipation,” he pointed out.
