Bauchi State Governor, Senator Bala Mohammed has been called upon to as a matter of necessity return the headquarters of Tafawa Balewa LGA to its original place considering that relative peace has returned to the area.
The call was made by the President of Zaar Development Association (ZDA), Engineer Isua Galla during the 2021 annual cultural festival known as ‘Leemp Zaar’ held on Saturday at the Tafawa Balewa Central Primary school.
He also lamented that the issue of Zaar Chiefdom was long overdue in order to give the Sayawa nation self governance as was done to other tribes and communities in the state as a means of developing the area.
Isua Galla said that since assumption of office as the President of the Association, a lot of positive changes has been made, particularly, with regard to peaceful coexistence of Zaar people with other tribes within the local government area and beyond.
According to him, “We have succeeded in restructuring the ZDA which has in turn led to further cementing the relationship between Zaar people and other Communities living in Tafawa Balewa and Bogoro Local government areas of Bauchi state”.
He commended Bauchi State Governor, Sen Bala Mohammed Abdulkadir for executing meaningful projects that have direct bearing on the lives of his people, describing him as the most Zaar friendly Governor ever in the state.
While declaring the festival opened, the Gung Zaar-select, Air Commodore Ishaku Komo (rtd) urged Za’ar sons and daughters to always love and support one another in order to succeed in life.
The monarch challenged Zaar Community to always engage in legitimate businesses and avoid engaging in questionable ventures that will bring disrepute to the good image of the Zaar nation.
While stating that Zaar Community have no anointed candidate in the nation’s politics, Ishaku Komo urged his people to always vote for candidates that have their interest at heart.
He then commiserated with the Governor over the recent death of his mother in-law.
