Disturbed by frequent carnage in villages of Zangon Kataf Local Government Area of Kaduna state as a result of unending attacks, the Chairman of the Council, Mr Francis Angwa Sani says enough is enough of the bloodshed.

Mr Sani who stated this while fielding questions from journalists in Zonkwa, said the ugly trend of destruction of lives and property has lingered for too long and must be brought to an end.

The Chairman said whatever the reasons behind these dastardly acts were, they could be amicably resolved on the table instead of resorting to wasting innocent lives indiscriminately.

He lamented that the attacks that appear to have defied all solutions have claimed hundreds of lives and hundred of houses equally burnt down, which has rendered many homeless.

Mr Sani also expressed worry that legitimate activities, especially farming in most villages have been brought to a halt as the attacks persist.

He added that hunger and starvation were imminent if the crisis is allowed to fester.

The Local Government boss appealed to perpetrators of the heinous acts to sheath the sword and allow peace to return to the trouble – ridden communities.
