Zawan Old Boys celebrate appointment of Dr. Tsenyil as NCDC MD/CEO

The Zawan Old Boys Association (ZOSA), the alumni body of the College of Mary Immaculate (CMI), Zawan, Plateau State, has congratulated one of its distinguished members, Dr. Cyril Yiltsen Tsenyil, on his appointment as Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of the North Central Development Commission (NCDC) by President Bola Tinubu.

At its general meeting held at the school premises in Zawan, ZOSA expressed pride in the confidence reposed in Dr. Tsenyil, describing him as a man of proven competence, discipline, and commitment to service.

The Association noted that with the values and principles imbibed from their alma mater, they are confident that Dr. Tsenyil will excel in this crucial national assignment.

In his remarks, Dr. Tsenyil appreciated the support of his alma mater, the Zawan Old Boys Association (ZOSA), which he described as a platform that continues to promote unity, cohesion, and collaboration among members.

He also expressed gratitude to the founding fathers of the school under the Catholic Diocese of Jos, past and present principals and teachers (both living and deceased), as well as the leadership and members of ZOSA — seniors, classmates, juniors, and current students — for sustaining the legacies and values of the institution over the years.

Dr. Tsenyil thanked them for their goodwill and prayers, emphasizing that the discipline, integrity, and hard work instilled in him during his time at the College remain guiding principles in his life and service to the nation.

He further appreciated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for according the school the honour of producing a leader to serve as MD/CEO of the NCDC, assuring that he will discharge his duties with honesty, diligence, and dedication — values he has upheld since his days at CMI Zawan and throughout his career, including his tenure as Accountant General of Plateau State.
