The newly registered Action Democratic Party (ADP) will has slated October 2 for the conduct of its primaries for the 2019 General Elections for all positions.
The positions are that of governorship/House of Assembly, National Assembly/Presidential at Zonal basis.
This was contained in the party’s time-table made available to Apex News by its Deputy National Publicity Secretary (North), Comrade Abdulmajeed Sa’ad after a crucial party meeting in Abuja.
According to the time-table, hearing of election petition panels on the primaries will hold from October 8 to 10 while the National Convention will take place on October 7.
Comrade Sa’ad also said the meeting also discussed the upcoming Osun State governorship and the 2019 general elections and urged the Federal Government and the Independent National Electoral Commission to be fair to all parties.
He further explained that the party agreed on the need to be fair and transparent in the conduct of its primaries within global standards.
