A former Gombe State governor Alhaji Ibrahim Hassan Dankwambo has said he will not relent until Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) reclaim its mandate and return to government house in 2023 elections.
He stated this at the PDP state party secretariat in Gombe when members of the party gave him a rousing welcome to at the weekend.
While urging members of the party to remain calm, he said modalities have been put on ground to ensure that PDP bounce back again.
Dankwambo who handed over mantle of leadership to the All Progressives Congress, (APC) in 2019 was said to have not visited Gombe state until Saturday when he landed at the Gombe international airport where he was received by members of the party.
In an interview with journalists in his residence Dankwambo said his visit to the state was aimed at to pay condolences to those that lost their beloved ones and will also give him chance to discuss with PDP members.
