Ahead of 2023 general elections, a pressure group, Harris Support Organization (HSO) has begun to mobilise support for the Chairman, Arewa Consultative and Synergy Congress (ACSC), Dr. Harris HM Jibril to be elected as the next governor of Kaduna state.
Dr Harris is a one time Senatorial aspirant in Kaduna Central under People Redemption Party (PRP), 2019, and a former Chairman, Action Democratic Party (ADP), Kaduna state chapter (2018).
The HSO, in a statement Monday, by its Coordinator, Mr. Umar Faruk Magume, said Dr. Harris, with his antecedents and political pedigree, was better positioned to promote good governance and deliver democracy dividends in the state.
He said Harris’ knack for excellence and sincere service was devoid of pecuniary gains, but to move the state to the next level of development.
The statement explained that based on the administrative acumen and financial expertise of Dr Harris, Kaduna state would be better positioned economically.
