The Executive Chairman of the State Pilgrims Welfare Agency, Faruq Aliyu Yaro, Enabo, Jagaban Gwandu, repient of the wards earlier presented to him by the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah Affairs in Makkah, handed them over to Governor Nasir Idris at the Government House, Birnin Kebbi, on Monday.

Alhaji Faruq Enabo remarked that such feat could not be possible without the moral and material support provided to the Agency by the Governor that enabled the Agency conduct successful airlift to and fro, provided the pilgrims with good feeding, transportation and accommodation near the Grand Mosque, in Makkah.

“This feat is unprecedented in the history of Kebbi State, the Governor appointed capable and experienced members of the Board of the Agency, who performed their task creditably, we are grateful to you for your inquantifiable support”, Enabo emphasised.

“I performed the 2024 Hajj in Saudi Arabia, I ate the food provided to the Kebbi Pilgrims in Makkah and Madinah, it was a good meal, the accommodation and transportation were satisfactory.

“The three International prizes presented to Kebbi by Saudi Arabia in three areas of welfare of pilgrims is a clear sign that the Pilgrims Agency had carried out its responsibilities professionally.
