Anambra 2025: Awogu harps on grassroots mobilisation at APC LG strategic meeting

The All Progressives Congress (APC) members in Ogbaru Local Government Area of Anambra State have said they are bent in delivering the party whole and intact to their flag-bearer, Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu, in November 8 Governorship election.
Consequently, the party leaders in the Local Govt have been having series of strategic meetings to discuss plans on how to renew the enthusiasm of members and attract new ones so as to clinch victory on the November 8 Governorship election in Anambra State.
Addressing the meeting, Sir Arinzechukwu Awogu, who is the National Coordinator of the Ikemba Front and the party’s director of administration emphasized the importance of stable grassroot mobilization at the polling unit and ward levels to ensure the success of APC’s campaign in Ogbaru Local Government Area
He said that all the members of the party should focus on grassroots mobilization at the polling unit and ward levels which according to him would help target voters more effectively.

Former chairman of Ogbaru Local Government under former Governor Willie Obiano said that grassroot mobilisation is a winning strategy,saying that APC leaders in Ogbaru Local Government in concert with the Working Committee members and the 16 wards chairmen were determined to win the Local Government for the party, with no room for the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA).
According to some members of the party, they left the meeting with increased motivation to support the APC’s candidate, Prince Dr. Nicholas Ukachukwu.
They said the meeting ended with unity ofPurpose, demonstrating the party’s commitment to work together to achieve victory in the Local Government for their flag-bearer.
Other top hierarchy of the Local Government who attended the meeting were the state officers of the party from Ogbaru Local Government Area such Hon. Mrs Calista Nwachukwu, State Treasurer of the party, the Tour Committee Chairman of Ogbaru Local Government Area, the host of the meeting, Chief Afam Odogwu (Ochiagha Ogbaru), the Ogbaru Local Government Chairman of the party, Sir Chigozie Ejidike and his Exco members and the 16 ward chairmen of the party.
