Elder Caleb Adoku Amulah, the brother in-law of the Editor-in-Chief of Apex News Exclusive, Mr. Anthony Maliki has been laid to rest in Abinsi, Guma Local Government Area of Benue State on Saturday.
Late Adoku, as he was popularly called, passed away on Wednesday 12, August, 2026 at the Jos University Teaching Hospital (JUTH), Jos after a protracted illness.
Late Adoku was the eldest brother to Mrs. Linda Taluta Maliki, the wife of the Editor-in-Chief.
During the funeral service, speakers extolled the virtues of late Adoku describing him as a very humble and person who loved everybody devoid of creed or religion.
Adoku had an illustrus fishing career and business spanning many years in Benue, Yola, Chad and parts of Cameroon.
Though he had no formal western education, he loved schooling with virtually all his children being graduates with First-Class degrees.
In his sermon, Pastor Joseph Okabu said he didn’t know late Adoku for long, he can testify to humility and live of good neighbourliness.
Late Adoku was survived by two wives, 15 children, many grandchildren, an aged mother.
